Universal Fire & Casualty Insurance Company, founded by CEO Thomas Parker, is best known for its innovative underwriting approach and expertise in the Bail Surety marketplace along with its breadth of services provided to producers. UFCIC has leveraged this philosophy with the addition of Commercial Surety and Property and Casualty lines of business. Commercial Surety will focus License and Permit, and Miscellaneous bonds, where the P&C business will concentrate on Business Owner’s Policies. UFCIC has retained Chris Timm to spearhead these new lines. Chris brings a vast level of knowledge and experience, and an operating philosophy that fits Universal’s vision.
